The evening
How long do you play for?
Our standard evening booking runs from 8pm–midnight, including a 45-minute break, usually around the evening buffet. Timings can be extended or changed by agreement.
Do you include ceilidh?
Yes. A ceilidh set with calling is included. We play and explain a range of dances, including the Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow.
How many people are in the band?
There are three of us, covering vocals, saxophone, keyboards, bass guitar and drums through our live setup. The lineup can be extended with a female singer or guitarist on request.
Can we discuss our first dance?
Of course. Send us the song you have in mind and we’ll confirm what’s possible and agree the arrangements with you.
What happens during the break?
We take one 45-minute break, normally to coincide with the buffet. You have the option of background music for a breather and some ambience or we can provide a gapless playlist to keep the party in full swing while we catch our breath. Entirely up to you! You can even provide your own playlist.
Can we add a DJ set?
Yes. A DJ set can be booked in 30-minute slots to extend the night. Mention it when you enquire so we can include it in your quote.
Your venue
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based around Glasgow and Edinburgh and play weddings throughout Scotland, including Aberdeen. We’re also available elsewhere in the UK and Europe; send us your venue and we’ll confirm the arrangements.
Do we need to hire sound or lighting?
Our PA system and stage lighting are included. If your venue has particular production requirements, let us know in advance.
Can you set up earlier in the day?
Yes, earlier setup or setup the day before can be discussed when booking. We’ll confirm availability, access and any associated fee.
Our venue has a sound limiter. Can we discuss it?
Please send us the venue’s requirements, including any sound limit, setup-space or access restrictions. We’ll discuss these with you before confirming the arrangements.

How do we check availability and get a quote?
How do we secure our date?
A completed, signed booking form and a £200 deposit secure your date. The deposit is deducted from the total fee, with the remaining balance due in the month before your wedding. Read our booking terms for the full details.
